Privacy Policy

The short version: Pulse has no servers and no account. Your Dodo Payments API key and revenue data stay on your iPhone. We don’t collect, store, sell, or transmit your data to ourselves or anyone else.

Pulse (“the app”, “we”, “us”) is an independent iOS app that displays your Dodo Payments revenue analytics in the app and in widgets. This policy explains exactly what happens to your data. Pulse is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Dodo Payments.

1. What we collect

Nothing on our side. Pulse does not operate any backend servers, analytics, advertising, or tracking. We have no ability to see your API key, your customers, or your revenue.

2. Your Dodo API key

You provide a read-only Dodo Payments API key to connect your account.
The key is stored only on your device, in the iOS Keychain (or your device’s secure app-group storage), and is never transmitted to us.
The key is used solely to make requests directly from your device to Dodo’s API to fetch your own data.
A read-only key cannot move money, charge, or refund — it can only read your totals.
You can remove it at any time via Settings → Disconnect, or by deleting the app.

3. Your revenue and customer data

Payment, subscription and customer information is requested from Dodo directly to your device, cached locally on your device so the app and widgets can display it, and is never sent to us or any third party.

4. Network requests made from your device

Dodo Payments API (dodopayments.com) — to fetch your data using your key.
Exchange-rate service (open.er-api.com) — to convert multiple currencies into one display currency. Only a base currency code is sent; no personal or financial data is included.
Apple & RevenueCat — to process and validate the optional in-app purchase (see §6).

5. Analytics & tracking

None. Pulse contains no third-party analytics SDKs, no advertising, and does not use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA). We do not track you across apps or websites.

6. In-app purchases

Pulse offers a one-time “Pulse Pro” unlock. Purchases are processed by Apple, and entitlements are managed via RevenueCat. These providers may process your purchase receipt and an anonymous identifier to deliver and restore your purchase, under their own privacy policies (Apple, RevenueCat). We do not receive your name, email, or payment details.

7. Data security

Your key is held in the iOS Keychain / secure app-group container and all network requests use HTTPS. Because your data never leaves your device for our servers, there is no central database for anyone to breach.

8. Children

Pulse is a business tool and is not directed to children under 13.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new “Last updated” date.
