Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Pulse iOS app (“the app”). By downloading or using Pulse, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. Independence & trademarks
Pulse is an independent application. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or operated by Dodo Payments or Apple. “Dodo Payments” and other names are the trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to describe compatibility.
2. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Pulse for your own business analytics on devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and the Apple Media Services Terms.
3. Your account & API key
- You are responsible for obtaining your own Dodo Payments account and API key.
- We strongly recommend using a read-only API key. You are responsible for keeping your key secure and for all activity performed with it.
- You must comply with Dodo Payments’ own terms and API usage policies.
4. In-app purchase
Pulse offers a one-time “Pulse Pro” unlock that enables additional widgets and features. It is a single purchase, not a subscription. All payments are processed by Apple; pricing, billing, and refunds are handled by Apple under the Apple Media Services Terms. Restorable on devices linked to your Apple ID.
5. Data accuracy — not financial advice
Pulse displays figures derived from your Dodo data. Numbers may be delayed (widgets refresh on the system’s schedule), rounded, or estimated (for example, multi-currency totals are converted using third-party exchange rates and shown as approximate). Pulse is provided for convenience only, is not an official record, and does not constitute financial, tax, or accounting advice. Always rely on your Dodo dashboard and official statements for decisions.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to reverse engineer, resell, or misuse the app, or use it to access data you are not authorized to access.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data shown is complete or current.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pulse and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, or data, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the app. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app in the preceding 12 months.
9. Termination
You may stop using Pulse at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or discontinue the app or any feature at any time.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
